Job description

Join the CLD PR & Experiential Productions Team this Fall!

CLD PR & Experiential Productions is seeking motivated and proactive interns to support our teams in Los Angeles with Fall internships beginning mid-August.

This in-office opportunity is based in Los Angeles and offers hands-on experience working alongside industry professionals within a fast-paced fashion, beauty, and lifestyle public relations and experiential productions agency.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Public Relations Intern, you will play an active role in ongoing campaigns and brand initiatives, assisting with media outreach, press tracking, influencer/celebrity placements, and event preparation. This internship provides real-world exposure to how PR campaigns and events come together from conception to execution to post-production.

Interns will develop essential skills in communication, research, organization, and client relations, while gaining insight into the day-to-day operations of a leading PR agency.

We are looking for motivated, proactive individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment. Interns will work 1โ€“3 days per week, Monday through Friday, from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, for a duration of 2โ€“4 months.

This internship provides academic credit for any students who may be interested. Itโ€™s an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to gain practical experience in public relations and the fashion industry.

Interns will have the opportunity to collaborate across multiple teams, gaining exposure to various areas within the company: Celebrity, Influencer, Media, Showroom, Events, Operations, and Business Development.

Celebrity: Support the gifting team and help secure celebrity placements. Play a key role in increasing brand visibility in the celebrity space, gaining insight into how PR firms collaborate with talent. Strong knowledge of current A-list celebrities is essential.

Influencer: Support the gifting team and help secure influencer placements. Similar to the Celebrity team, but focused on social media personalities and content creators across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Learn how PR collaborates with influencers to enhance brand presence.

Media: Conduct editor outreach, manage gifting initiatives, and monitor brand mentions across print and online platforms. Assist with social media management to ensure consistent brand visibility.

Showroom: Assist with merchandise preparation, showroom organization, and styling support for celebrities, editors, and stylists. Help maintain showroom aesthetics and gather images for pitches.

Events: Build outreach lists, provide administrative support, and assist in event production. Occasionally, there will be opportunities to work at Los Angeles-based events. Ideal for individuals interested in brand partnerships and event coordination.

Operations: Support inventory management and processing using LaunchMetrics Fashion GPS. Gain hands-on experience in fashion logistics, merchandising, sample coordination, and inventory management. May assist Operations as needed alongside other departmental tasks.
