Summary:
Provides support in the planning and implementation of communication programs that create a positive image of Broward Health and its hospitals and service lines. Brainstorms, creates, and transforms strategies into communication tactics, including but not limited to articles, media pitches, publications, blogs, social media posts, and other supportive materials. Writes and edits copy for a variety of marketing and communications (MARCOM) department needs, such as print ads, collateral, radio spots, signage, internet/web content, press releases, video scripts, executive messaging, presentations, and more. Manages media outreach.
Education:
Essential:
* Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, advertising or related field required.
* Master's degree in communications or business preferred.
Experience:
* Five years or related public relations experience required.
* Healthcare, public information or media experience strongly preferred.
