Prior hands on experience in Construction Contracting a must! The ideal candidate would be a former Construction General Contractor with proven experience OR someone with an Electrical Construction background. Prior project references will be required and reviewed.


This role requires a clear communicator, a clear understanding of what needs to be done to see a project through to completion & client expectations, someone that can articulate and listen to key stakeholders, someone that can push things forward, and someone with attention to QA QC.

You will thrive if you are self-managed and accountable, operate with high ethical standards and integrity, are willing to learn and grow together, and can stay focused on the end goal amid the chaos.

You will be supported by a team that has a combined 100+ years of experience plus many years working together.

Tasks (a guide of but not limited to)

  • Schedule appointments and manage calendar for conducting site visits
  • Manage and update project price as appropriate for projects as they develop (i.e. project changes, workscope additions, etc)
  • Use design tools to create high level overview plans for the client and to provide crew information needed for a smooth install
  • Provide information necessary to electrical & structural engineers to secure required plan sets for projects
  • Work with Procurement to order job materials and Electrical Supply house to order electrical components based on plans
  • Work with Admin support to provide information necessary to secure appropriate project permits and utility approvals
  • Set up & organize digital job folders with necessary information for other PPC employees to perform their duties
  • Meet with project team (project manager, leads) for project handoff on developed projects
  • Participate in project flow, close-out, and customer after-care
  • Provide guidance, knowledge, and support to other sales & design team members and colleagues

Qualifications

  • Ability to ask the right questions to gain information
  • Ability to understand what needs prioritization
  • Ability to interact and communicate respectfully with people of all ages and socioeconomic backgrounds
  • Strong computer skills and fluent navigation of multiple software programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, GSuite
  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, & have ability to multi-task and set priorities
  • Eye for detail and aesthetic design
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team
  • Valid and current Driver's License
  • 4+ years relevant experience
  • NABCEP PV Design Specialist (PVDS) Board Certification and/or PV Technical Sales (PVTS) Board Certification would be nice OR desire to achieve this with support from company
