What You'll Be Doing:

  • Be the primary point of contact for service customers, warmly greeting them and actively listening to their needs and concerns.
  • Translate customer needs and concerns into precise and comprehensive work orders, ensuring our service technicians have all the necessary information for efficient and accurate repairs.
  • Accurately prepare service and repair estimates, thoroughly explaining recommendations and associated costs to customers.
  • Proactively keep customers informed about the progress of their service, ensuring transparency and building trust.
  • Efficiently manage and finalize service tickets, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Optimize service workflow by managing dispatch schedules effectively.
  • Identify and promote valuable services that enhance vehicle performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with the Service Manager and Parts Department to ensure smooth operations.
  • Verify warranty and service contract coverage for customer repairs.
  • Maintain accurate customer service records within our database system.
  • Administer manufacturer warranties for qualifying repairs.
  • Communicate service specials and important updates to customers.

What We're Looking For in You:

  • Proven experience in a Service Writing or Advisor role (powersports or automotive experience is a significant plus!).
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust.
  • A foundational understanding of mechanical knowledge to effectively communicate service needs.
  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities to navigate various customer and technical situations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
