Job description

THE ROLE: Responsible for creating custom applications primarily but not limited to the Microsoft Power Platform to provide gains in automation of business processes. This position will conduct systems analysis and programming activities related to the development, maintenance, and installation of computer programs to support business operations as well as design, build and integrate solutions to meet the needs of the business. 

DAY IN THE LIFE:

  • Develop applications that streamline internal business processes
  • Work with existing legacy applications to convert (if necessary), extend and enhance functionality, as well as developing new applications
  • Perform unit testing after completion of the development tasks, initiate end to end testing and validation in a development environment
  • Work on assigned tasks to completion, correctly and in assigned time
  • Perform problem determination for correcting defects
  • Assist Solutions Architect in designing solutions for enhancements or during problem resolution
  • Complete estimates as to how much work is involved for all the project tasks, and perform analysis to determine how the solution can be achieved with the best design solution
  • Communicate proposed designs and progress on the work to team leads, and team members
  • May work with users or Business Analysts to determine requirements and design for systems
  • Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • B.A. Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-5 years of .Net web application development experience
  • Experience with REST, SOAP, JSON, XML as it relates to developing, maintaining, and consuming other application’s APIs
  • Extensive experience in developing on the Microsoft Power Platform including but not limited to: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Query, Power BI, Dataverse
  • Strong operational knowledge of Office 365 apps including but not limited to: SharePoint, Azure, Excel, Dynamics 365, MS Teams

WHAT WILL SET YOU A PART:

  • Experience developing PowerApps canvas/model-driven app
  •  Ability to create business processes automation with Power Automate/Logic Apps
  • Understanding of the ALM for PowerApps Solutions
  • A clear understanding of PowerApps formulas and development methods.
