Job description

Are you high energy, self-starter, serious minded, capable of initiating and building productive relationships? If yes, Penn Power Group is currently accepting resumes for a Fleet Technician who will exceed our customer's expectations through quality service.
Compensation: Hourly range up to $40/hour - This compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
Requirements
YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE:
  • Performing preventative maintenance inspections and repairs on fleet vehicles.
  • Routine Maintenance, oil changes, electrical services, and lubrication.
  • Accurately record time, parts, and PM inspection checklists.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all fleet vehicles.
  • Perform prescribed Preventative Maintenance services.
  • Diagnoses and identifies vehicle and equipment malfunctions and determines corrective actions to be taken through tests and inspections. Tests vehicles and equipment after repairs. Verifies completion of repairs to ensure a quality service deliverable.
  • Repairs or overhauls engines, transmissions, gear trains, differentials, steering systems, brake systems, clutch systems, electrical systems, power takeoffs, hydraulic and pneumatic lifts and controls, and related components.
  • Brazes or welds frames, sheet metal and various equipment components, such as trailers.

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE:
  • Positivity, adaptability, creativity, energy.
  • Superior ability to fill out forms and charts.
  • Superior skill and ability to utilize computer driven vehicle diagnostic software.
  • Considerable ability to perform vehicle and equipment overhaul and repair safely, effectively and efficiently.
  • ASE certifications
  • Diesel Engine Technical degree and/or training
