Position Overview

Target Compensation: $90K - $115K (commensurate with experience)

Delta Electronics Americas is seeking a Telecom Systems Engineer to support the testing, validation, troubleshooting, and release of Telecom Infrastructure products within our North America Telecom organization.
This role will work closely with Engineering teams in Taiwan, and internal lab teams to ensure Telecom products function properly, meet specifications, and are successfully prepared for customer deployment and production release.
The ideal candidate will bring a foundational understanding of Telecom Power or electrical/electronics systems along with strong troubleshooting capabilities and hands-on lab experience. This is a backend engineering-focused role supporting product functionality, issue resolution, validation testing, product enhancements, and engineering coordination activities across Delta's Telecom Infrastructure product portfolio.
This position is heavily lab-oriented and ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on engineering support, product testing, problem-solving, and technical collaboration within a fast-paced Telecom Infrastructure environment.
Key Responsibilities
Product Testing & Validation
  • Support testing, validation, troubleshooting, and release activities for Telecom Infrastructure products within lab environments
  • Validate product functionality and ensure systems operate according to engineering specifications and customer requirements
  • Assist with identifying product issues, root cause analysis, corrective actions, feature updates, and engineering improvements

Engineering & Product Support
  • Partner closely with Product Ownership and Engineering teams to support product lifecycle activities from prototype through production release
  • Coordinate with Taiwan engineering teams regarding product functionality, updates, enhancements, and technical issue resolution
  • Support product modifications, revisions, and implementation of engineering changes as needed

Lab Operations & Troubleshooting
  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting, diagnostics, testing, and system verification activities within Telecom lab environments
  • Work with schematics, electrical/electronics components, Telecom power systems, and related infrastructure equipment
  • Support product documentation, test reporting, validation activities, and release readiness efforts

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to support successful product deployment and quality standards
  • Assist with ensuring Telecom products meet operational, performance, and release expectations
  • Support occasional field or customer-related technical activities as needed

Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related technical field required
  • 2-5 years of experience within Telecom, Telecom Power, Industrial Automation, or related technical environments
  • Experience troubleshooting, testing, validating, or supporting electrical/electronics or Telecom Infrastructure products
  • Foundational understanding of Telecom DC Power Systems, electrical systems, schematics, or related infrastructure products
  • Hands-on experience working within lab, manufacturing, testing, or product validation environments
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with global engineering teams and cross-functional partners
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work on-site within a lab-focused environment approximately 95% of the time
  • Ability to travel up to 5% as needed

Pay Range
USD $90,000.00 - USD $115,000.00 /Yr.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior Telecom Infrastructure industry experience strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting Telecom Power Systems, rectifiers, batteries, cabinets, or related infrastructure equipment preferred
  • Experience supporting T-Mobile or Telecom carrier environments a plus
  • Bilingual Mandarin/English preferred, but not required
