Sales Representative – Power Systems
Quinn Power Systems, your Caterpillar Dealer
Los Angeles / Riverside Metro Area

Ready to power your career with an industry leader? Quinn Power Systems your trusted Caterpillar dealer, is seeking a driven, results-oriented Sales Representative to develop and manage accounts across the Los Angeles and Riverside metro area.

This is a field-based sales role where you’ll take ownership of a defined territory, building strong customer relationships and delivering tailored power solutions. You’ll represent a premium product line including Caterpillar power generators, diesel engines, HVAC systems, compressors, rentals, and service offerings.


This position offers a base salary plus commission. Estimated first-year total earnings range from $85,000 to $110,000, depending on individual performance, experience, and product knowledge. Compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package.


What You’ll Do:

  • Manage and grow an existing account base within your assigned territory

  • Follow up on leads and proactively generate new business through cold calling and prospecting

  • Call on end users, contractors, and engineering firms to influence specifications and secure opportunities

  • Drive strategic business development across the full Engine Division product line

  • Consult with customers to identify equipment needs and recommend customized solutions

  • Own the full sales cycle, including account management and long-term relationship building


What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum of 2 years of commissioned field sales experience

  • College degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Technical knowledge of Caterpillar or comparable industrial/commercial equipment

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and general computer applications

  • Ability to learn and utilize internal systems (DBS, TMI, CWS, PSQ, ISA, CRM, iMACs)

  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and drive to achieve sales goals

  • Ability to manage and organize a defined sales territory effectively

  • Valid California driver’s license in good standing
