Location: The Woodlands, TX 77380
Duration: 6-12 Month Contract
Work Authorization: US Citizen, Green Card, or Authorized to Work in the US

    • Onsite: 3 days per week
    • Remote: 2 days per week

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Power Platform Developer to join our growing application development team. This role will focus on modernizing enterprise-facing legacy applications, developing new business solutions, and supporting existing applications. The successful candidate will work closely with Power BI developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, user-focused solutions across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Migrate legacy enterprise applications from VB.NET to modern Power Platform and .NET-based solutions.
  • Build new business applications to reduce development backlog and improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop and enhance Power Apps solutions, including both Model-Driven and Canvas Apps.
  • Create and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate.
  • Support reporting and analytics initiatives through Power BI integration and development.
  • Design and manage data solutions utilizing Dataverse.
  • Provide troubleshooting, debugging, and user support for existing applications.
  • Collaborate with data engineering and Power BI teams to ensure seamless application integration and data accessibility.
  • Support and enable the organization's Citizen Development program by promoting best practices and governance.

Required Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience developing solutions within the Microsoft Power Platform, including:
    • Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps)
    • Power Automate
    • Power BI
    • Dataverse
  • Strong .NET development experience, including:
    • VB.NET
    • C#
  • Experience supporting, troubleshooting, and debugging production applications.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric and OneLake.
  • Familiarity with modern data platform architectures and data lake environments.
  • Experience working alongside data engineering teams and integrating applications with enterprise data platforms.
