Job description

The Power Platform Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions utilizing Microsoft Power Platform  to address business needs and enhance organizational processes. This role requires in-depth expertise in application development, process automation, data modeling, report/dashboard design, and robust integration with legacy and third-party systems.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize the user interface.
  • Design intuitive and aesthetically pleasing interfaces that enhance user experience.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and make improvements.
  • Develop custom applications using Power Apps.
  • Automate workflows and business processes using Power Automate.
  • Use Dataverse to create custom data models for applications requiring a relational data structure.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services and third-party applications.
  • Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide insights and data visualization.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Possesses 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in developing Canvas Apps and/or Model-Driven Apps within the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in information technology or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT roles and/or software development positions.
  • Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline (an additional 4 years of professional experience may be substituted for the degree requirement).
  • A minimum of 1 year of direct experience working with Power BI and SharePoint.
  • Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS and/or possesses business analysis (BA) experience.
  • Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility is required.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.

Minimum Skills Required:

  • Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe toolsets, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Acrobat, etc.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with diverse technical teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in dynamic project environments.
  • Ability to interpret technical requirements, identify gaps, and coordinate with specialized teams to resolve them.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
