Job title: Power Platform Developer

Job Type: Contract W-2 -sponsorship offered

Job Location: New York, New York (Hybrid- 3 days onsite)

Experience level: 5-10 years

A global bank is seeking a Power Platform Developer. Expertise in designing, developing, and deploying modern SharePoint intranet portals using HTML, CSS, SPFX, React, and custom Power Platform solutions. Delivering applications on low-code platforms (i.e. Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, etc). The Power Platform Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation applications using low-code and no-code platforms and configuring systems to support Regulatory Reporting, KYC, Compliance, HR, Global Markets, Finance, Risk, & Operations

This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, build, and deploy automated solutions.

The role will focus on implementation to support the following:

  • Delivering applications on low-code platforms (i.e. Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, etc), as well as leveraging SharePoint and DataVerse and Sql Server backend
  • Researching and analyzing business processes with the scope of optimizing and automating them.
  • Supporting, developing and maintaining existing Risk Decision Tool

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Power Platform and Share Point Online and SQL Server a MUST
  • Microsoft Power Platform (App, Automate, BI)
  • SQL server
  • Stored procedures
  • Database design, understanding indexs, performance tuning,
  • MERGE commands, creating tables, relational models, left, right joins
  • Power platform, apps, flows, galleries
  • SQL connectors and other connectors on power platform, not just technologies, used called sql server
  • SUN, JIRA
  • Power bI (nice to have)
  • Good command of DevOps practices, Agile methods
  • Alteryx, SharePoint leveraging SharePoint, DataVerse and SQL Server

Skills:

Completed College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Proven experience in low-code/no-code development and automation with understanding of business processes and workflow automation

Proficiency in using low-code/no-code platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint and Alteryx

Experience in DevOps, SUN(ServiceNow), Bit Bucket, Jenkins.

Knowledge of development life cycle and experience on APIs, SQL and software integration.

Have knowledge and ability to handle project management skills, define scope, objectives, schedule, and work within budgets.

A Huge Plus:

Certification in low-code/no-code development platforms

Familiarity with agile development concepts/methodologies.

Experience in supporting and working with financial businesses.
