Job Description

As part of the Continuous Improvement team, the Digital Improvement Specialist identifies and evaluates business opportunities to apply Microsoft Power Platform solutions that enhance efficiency and performance across both new and existing processes. Collaborating with a wide variety of cross-functional leaders and subject matters experts to envision, initiate, plan and deliver on that potential value and communicate its impact to the organization. 

The role of the Digital Improvement Specialist has ownership for the overall design, delivery and sustainability of low-code/no-code Power Platform solutions. The Digital Specialist is a thought leader with a growth mindset and natural ability to elevate the performance of their coworkers by challenging the status quo of how we work, how we think as an organization and the tools & processes required to provide value to our customers. 

  • Design, develop, and implement custom solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and other Power Platform technologies. 
  • Maintenance and optimization of the Power Platform environments and solutions to assure optimal utilization of resources and sustainable performance of the portal. 
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand internal/external requirements. 
  • Plan and facilitate solution envisioning workshops to conceptualize a project path. 
  • Translate natural language business requirements into technical process documentation and framework diagrams. 
  • Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of the Power Platform solutions. 
  • Experience in transforming/manipulating data. 
  • Provide regular training and SME support to end-users on the Power Platform solutions. 
  • Stay up to date with the latest Power Platform advancements and technologies. 
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. 
  • Perform implementation/migration/administration development and support during client implementation and ramp up. 
  • Perform assessments and conduct discovery sessions to develop/design SoW's, estimates, and proposals for potential new business. 
  • Drive organizational change and culture change related to the digitization and digitalization of how we work at Arvato. 
  • Demonstrate effective use of time management to achieve billable utilization goals. 
  • Assist solution design team members in presenting recommended solutions to technical and non-technical audiences in a way that is understandable and engaging. 
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for internal use and external presentations (e.g., as-built documentation, solution architecture, etc.) . 
  • Handle escalated support and administration needs for all service delivery teams. 
  • Provide ongoing mentoring, guidance, and knowledge transfer for junior team members. Any additional tasks that may be assigned to ensure an efficient, safe, clean, and goal-oriented work environment

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university with focus in Computer Science, Programming or Data Architecture 
  • 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Equivalent education or certifications must be verifiable and with credentials provided by an accredited institution. Microsoft Learn Program certifications via Credly are ideal. 
  • PL-600: Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect Expert 
  • Dynamics 365 Fundamentals CRM 
  • Other accredited education/credentials related to Power Platform & Dynamics 365 Solution Architecture
