Job Description
As an Power Platform / SharePoint Developer you responsible for designing, building, customizing, and maintaining enterprise-grade solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages) and SharePoint Online.
The ideal candidate bridges the gap between technical capability and business requirements translating complex operational workflows into intuitive, scalable digital solutions. This role focuses on automating manual workflows, and maintaining robust document management structures within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. This is a hybrid role with 3 days onsite in Bethesda, MD.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using Microsoft PowerPlatform and SharePoint.
  • Implement workflow automation solutions using Power Automate and Sharepoint.
  • Integrate Power Platform applications with other Microsoft and third-party systems.
  • Conduct testing and debugging to ensure application functionality and performance.
  • Partner with stakeholders to analyze current business processes, identify operational bottlenecks, and document clear technical specifications.
  • Collaborates with Stakeholders to develop product features and capabilities to deliver business value.
  • Responsible for supporting software operations and maintenance including addressing software patches, errors, bugs, and vulnerabilities.
  • Ensures solution is developed to security and quality standards, as well as configured for performance, scalability, upgradability, and re-usability.
  • Assist with developing test cases to ensure software meets communicated requirement.
  • Assist with estimating level of effort

Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (at least 3 years) in developing applications using Microsoft PowerPlatform and SharePoint.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to develop and optimize applications.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Certifications
    • PL-100: Power Platform App Maker
    • PL-200: Power Platform Functional Consultant

Preferred
  • PL-400: Power Platform Developer (Highly desirable)
  • Federal Consulting Industry Experience Preferred
