Engagement Type: Long-term Contract or Full-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking a senior SharePoint Architect to lead enterprise-scale SharePoint and Microsoft 365 initiatives in a BFSI environment. The role owns platform strategy, future-state architecture, modernization, governance, business analysis, and delivery across SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, RPA, and AI-enabled collaboration solutions. The architect will advise senior stakeholders and lead onshore/offshore teams supporting investment, operations, and portfolio functions.

The ideal candidate combines deep SharePoint/M365 architecture expertise with an AI-first mindset, including practical exposure to LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, Bots, Claude AI / Claude Code, multi-skill/multi-agent models, MCP, and Microsoft Power Platform AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

SharePoint / Microsoft 365 Architecture & Modernization

Own the SharePoint / Microsoft 365 platform roadmap and define scalable future-state architecture across SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Power Platform.

Lead enterprise modernization and migration from legacy SharePoint environments to SharePoint Online, establishing architecture standards, governance, security, information architecture, and platform best practices.

Partner with business and IT leaders using deep business analysis skills to understand new problem statements, map current/future processes, identify automation opportunities, and translate requirements into scalable solutions; guide and mentor distributed onshore/offshore delivery teams.

AI-First & Agentic Microsoft 365 Solutions

Drive an AI-first development approach by embedding LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, conversational Bots, intelligent search, and AI-assisted workflows directly into SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and enterprise solutions.

Leverage Claude AI / Claude Code and similar LLM platforms for multi-skill/multi-agent approaches across requirements, architecture, development, testing, documentation, modernization, and support. Apply Model Context Protocol (MCP) to securely connect AI models/agents with SharePoint, Microsoft 365, APIs, enterprise data, applications, and development tools for end-to-end software solution development.

Apply enterprise security, data protection, grounding, guardrails, observability, human oversight, and Responsible AI practices for AI-enabled solutions, particularly within regulated financial-services environments.

Business Analysis, Power Platform, RPA & Intelligent Automation

Architect new end-to-end business flows and RPAs using Power Apps and Power Automate, from problem discovery and process analysis through solution design, automation, integration, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.

Provide hands-on architectural exposure to AI Hub in Power Automate, including AI prompts, AI models / AI Builder, and document intelligence capabilities for document extraction, classification, processing, workflow automation, and AI-enabled business scenarios.

Identify opportunities to combine Power Automate, AI Builder/Document Intelligence, LLMs, agents, and enterprise data to modernize manual and legacy workflows. Assess and migrate existing RPAs/workflows built using competitive tools such as Alteryx, Automation Anywhere, and UiPath into Power Automate while preserving business controls, reliability, auditability, and operational continuity.

Governance, Security & Leadership

Establish platform governance, security, lifecycle management, development standards, reusable patterns, and adoption practices across SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, and AI-enabled solutions.

Stay current with the Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Copilot/AI, and broader AI technology roadmaps; evaluate emerging capabilities and advise leadership on adoption, architecture, risk, and business value.

Provide architecture reviews, technical direction, mentoring, stakeholder communication, and delivery governance in fast-paced, high-visibility enterprise programs.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science, Engineering, IT, or related discipline with 10+ years overall experience and 6+ years of strong SharePoint / Microsoft 365 experience.

Strong hands-on expertise in SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, Teams, OneDrive, Power Apps, and Power Automate, with proven experience leading enterprise SharePoint programs, modernization initiatives, platform roadmaps, future-state architecture, and automation/RPA delivery.

Exposure to Power Automate AI Hub capabilities including AI prompts, AI models / AI Builder, and document intelligence; ability to identify and architect practical AI-enabled automation scenarios.
