Job description

Job Title: Mechanic Location: Thompson, Texas, United States Type: 6 month Contract Compensation: $45.00 Contractor Work Model: Onsite – onsite

Responsibilities

  • Perform oil changes, pump motor maintenance, and alignments to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Handle valve maintenance and adjustments, supporting process efficiency and safety
  • Assist with HVAC-related tasks as needed, providing support to ongoing maintenance operations
  • Adhere to safety procedures and company policies while completing mechanical repairs and inspections
  • Coordinate with project managers and team members to meet project deadlines

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, HVAC, or related fields
  • Experience with oil changes, pump motors, alignments, valves, and HVAC systems preferred
  • Proven ability to work onsite in industrial or facility environments
  • Strong safety awareness and compliance with industry standards
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or within a team
