LSG Sky Chefswith over 75 years of Catering history is hiring immediately for Full-Time team players to prepare products for our Airline, E-Commerce, and Retail customers. We are the worlds leading provider of end-toend airline products and services with a fast-growing footprint in Convenience Retail and Subscription Food Service.

Description of Duties:

Diagnose failures and repair accordingly. Install, and repair complex mechanical equipment using test and diagnostic equipment.

  • Repair power distribution systems, involving work of a varied nature with minimum supervision. Assume duties in absence of Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Work from Blueprints, schematics and verbal Instructions
  • Direct work of subordinates as required. Train subordinates as required.
  • Perform work related in our facility i.e., electricity, plumbing, welding, equipment troubleshoots and repair dish machines, hot kitchen equipment, cold food equipment
  • Must have good housekeeping skills

Job Skills or Qualifications:

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Accurately and quickly, diagnose complex equipment failures.
  • Skill level must include fabrication, assembly, welding, cutting, and
  • Work from blueprints, schematics, and verbal instructions.
  • Uses CMMS to schedule and perform maintenance.
  • Know location of all shop equipment.
  • Must be able to start, stop, and operate all equipment.
  • Complete routine paperwork as required.
  • Must have excellent attendance.
  • Must be able to work under pressure.
  • Must be able to manually lift 50 pounds. A multi-choice exam will be given as part of the interview process.

Eligible candidates must:

  • Be 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States
  • Pass a background check and clear a drug screen
  • Be able to stand for the FULL duration of the shift
  • Be available to work in a 38- degree cold room, only when necessary
  • Be a team player and work well with a diverse team from all over the world!
  • Ability to comprehend verbal & written specifications in English
  • Possess basic math skills
  • MUSTbe able to work a Flexible schedule; This is a 24-hour operation, 7 days a week

Additional eligibility requirements and details:

  • This is a Union Position- must be willing to pay union dues after 14 days
  • Must be available to work a full-time position, including Weekends and Holidays as needed
