Description
Crane Service Technician (Overhead Cranes) - Safety, Quality, Pride in the Work
At Mazzella, we work on equipment that moves tons over people's heads. There is zero room for error, which is why we value precision over speed. We are growing fast, but we never outpace our commitment to safety-if it isn't safe, we don't do it. Period.
A day MIGHT include
Morning: inspection + repairs at a manufacturing plant
Midday: troubleshooting a control issue that's killing uptime
Afternoon: finishing paperwork and requesting parts so tomorrow is smoother
What we're looking for
Mechanical aptitude and/or electrical troubleshooting
Professional communication
Comfortable working at heights and industrial environments
What you can expect from us
Clear expectations, clear schedule, clear support
Tools/truck/training
Advancement opportunities - growth in your role, mentorship, apprenticeship
You might be a fit if you have experience in any of the following:
Mechanical Systems: Industrial equipment repair, elevator maintenance, or HVAC (commercial/industrial).
Electrical Expertise: Troubleshooting electrical motor controls or 3-phase power, VFDs, PLCs, DC Controls.
Facility Maintenance: Plant/facilities upkeep or managing preventative maintenance processes.
Structural Work: Structural steel fabrication and installation.
Problem-Solving: A natural "handyman" aptitude, a self-starter mindset, and the ability to figure out complex mechanical puzzles.
