Job description

Position: Warehouse Pick Line Associate Picker

Status: Full-time, Non-exempt Department: AVE Warehouse Manager: Tina Benson

Position Summary: The Pick Line Warehouse Associate - The position is a support role for several areas of vending, including but not limited to; stocking product on lines, packing of product crates and any other assigned task related to the pick line. This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required by the employee.

REQUIRED TO WORK MONDAY - FRIDAY BEGIINING AT 6:00 AM AND SUNDAYS AT 5:00 AM (work week is five days.)

Responsibilities:

Perform production duties such as manual lifting, stocking and packing of crates containers.

Move product and inventory from warehouse racks to pick line slot system throughout the shift daily.

Select route orders from pick slot according to quantity provided by light-speed technology and place in crate, move crate to next picker.

Report defective product to the department supervisor.

Perform related duties as required by supervision.

Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations. Perform various post shift duties that include clean up trash, placing carts in docking areas and any other duty as instructed by the Supervisor or Team Lead Associate on duty.

Physical Demands:

May be required to stand for long periods of time.

May involve some repetitive motions.

Must be able to lift up to 5 to 50 pounds.

May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling of product and crate containers.

Due to the environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold.

Requirements:

Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions.

Effectively communicate information and respond to questions from various levels within the organization.

Perform basic visual quality inspections on products.

Maintain the production pace of other team members.

Be diligent and punctual, always on time.

Good physical strength and stamina.

Education: High School Diploma and/or GED. and equivalent work experience

Experience: 1 year of warehouse or picker experience.

Computer Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office;

Other Requirements: Must be able to work Monday - Friday and Sunday. You will have a day off during the week if scheduled to work on Sundays.

Certificates & Licenses: Fork lift, pallet jack is a plus; however, not a requirement for the position

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.

References required.
