Job Description

Engineering student needed to support global product engineering and testing for Bosch Powertrain Solutions located in Charleston, South Carolina USA. The student will work within an established engineering department specializing in product functional testing, NA customer support, problem solving, and engineering root cause analysis of automotive fuel systems for on-road and off-road applications. Student will report to the department Engineering Manager and will have project work directed by an experienced principal engineer.

Qualifications
  • Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program (or international equivalent) with concentration in programs such as materials, mechanical, aerospace engineering, or other related scientific discipline. 2nd year student or higher preferred
  • Basic design, materials and testing coursework a plus
  • Bosch fuel injector equipment (FIE) testing and/or product knowledge a plus
  • Experience with data analysis and technical writing (reports, presentations)
  • Self-driven and motivated in taking a task and following to completion
  • Confident contributor and communicator in a team-oriented environment
  • Enjoys challenges both inside and outside chosen engineering discipline
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Python, and Power BI all beneficial
