Job Description:

Searching for an Engineering Technician Level D who will work with a multi-disciplinary team to collaboratively design, manufacture, and test electronic and electro-mechanical. The ideal candidate should have experience using manual and automated test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal test generators, power supplies, counters, etc.) and experience troubleshooting electronic circuitry to the component level.ย 

Essential Functions:

  • Set up test equipment and perform electronic testing, both manual and automated, in a production and Engineering Lab environments.

  • Perform electronic troubleshooting and fault isolation.

  • Record test data, maintain test data file system, shop routing documentation and accept/reject data for production & engineering assemblies.

  • Assist technicians and engineers in performing Root Cause and Failure Analysis.

  • Assist Engineering in establishing operating standards for test systems including detailed test plans and work instructions.

  • Ability to obtain US security clearance.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant work experience related to testing, troubleshooting and repairing electronic circuits and electronic components or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant work experience related to testing, troubleshooting and repairing electronic circuits and electronic components.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance or higher.

  • Experience using spectrum analyzers, power meters, signal generators, and other RF test equipment.

  • Experience working in the Defense Industry.

  • Experience working in Electronics Manufacturing.

  • Knowledge of computerized test equipment, including hands-on experience is required.

  • Working knowledge (formal training and practical experience) of electronic circuitry.

  • Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $75,000.00 - $139,000.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
