⚡ Electrical Engineer III

Olsten Staffing is hiring an Electrical Engineer III to join an innovative and hands-on engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who is results-driven and experienced in electrical and embedded systems design.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop hardware and software for control systems, including HMI devices, power electronics, and electromechanical components ⚙️
  • Create and maintain testing processes, including lab testing, calculations, and performance evaluations
  • Prepare technical drawings and documentation for manufacturing
  • Lead root cause analysis and troubleshoot electrical and electronic component failures
  • Collaborate with repair teams to improve product quality and reliability
  • Support supply chain efforts, including sourcing, cost reduction, and parts availability
  • Develop upgrade and replacement solutions for obsolete or hard-to-source components
  • Maintain and update spare parts information and documentation
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Strong experience in embedded hardware, software, and firmware design
  • Knowledge of analog/digital design, power electronics, and communication interfaces (RS422/RS485/CAN)
  • Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, C#, VB.NET, Assembly, or MATLAB
  • Understanding of communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, USB)
  • Experience with PCBA design and microprocessor-based systems
  • Familiarity with CAD tools such as Altium, Orcad, KiCAD, or Eagle
  • Experience using lab/test equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.)
