Job Description:

L3Harris is currently seeking a highly motivated Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Senior Specialist for the Communication & Spectrum Dominance Intermediate Home Office (CSD IHO). This role will support the preparation of weekly and monthly management forecasts and analytical reports, various metrics, and ad hoc requests for presentation to segment leadership.

We are seeking a proactive, self-starter with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.ย  Must possess effective communication and interpersonal skills to be able to collaborate and foster strong working relationships with key stakeholders. Ideal candidate must be detail oriented and capable of multi-tasking and the ability to work with minimal day-to-day supervision.

Essential Functions:

  • Directly supports the CSD Segment consolidation for the Monthly Business Review (MBR), Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Joint Strategic Plan (JSP), and other segment level financial reports and reviews
  • Oversees the consolidation and preparation of the Segment's Monthly Cash Flow Forecast through to corporate submission, working directly with sector and corporate FP&A leads
  • Responsible for consolidating and reporting the CSD segment's Sales, General and Administrative (SG&A) expenses for the Monthly Business Review (MBR) and leads the quarterly SG&A reviews with sectors
  • Forecasting of several CSD IHO departments, with regular reviews and presentations to senior management
  • Performs journal entries and intercompany billings as needed
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset
  • Actively seeks opportunities to enhance automation and data visualization to streamline assigned processes through Power BI and other reporting tools

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.

  • 6+ years of experience in finance or accounting
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Detail oriented with ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Hyperion Financial Planning (HFM)/Smartview or Power Business Intelligence tools are a plus, but not a requirement.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, theย salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $76,500 - ย $141,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
