Job Description

  • Experienced and highly skilled Senior Power BI Developer with 12-15 years of overall IT experience and extensive expertise in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Visualization, and Microsoft Power Platform technologies.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level Power BI solutions that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • The candidate should possess strong experience in data modeling, DAX optimization, ETL processes, Azure data services, SQL development, and dashboard design while working closely with business users, architects, and data engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop complex Power BI reports and dashboards using DAX, Power Query, and other advanced features of Power BI.
  • Build efficient data models using Power BI Desktop, create calculated columns and measures using advanced DAX functions, and optimize performance.
  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources, including SQL Server, Excel, Share Point, Rest API's, Azure, and other enterprise databases.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and other stakeholders to gather and refine requirements for BI solutions.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data presented in Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Optimize Power BI dashboards for performance and usability.
  • Provide guidance and support to other team members on Power BI best practices.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Power BI and data visualization.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 12-15 years of overall IT experience with minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience with PowerBI.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, SQL, and data warehousing principles.
  • Proficiency in DAX and Power Query.
