Reports to: VP of Digital TechnologyCooperates with: Software Development, Enterprise Platforms, Engineering, Sales, IT, Operations, Product DevelopmentLocation: Tulsa, OKPrimary Responsibility: Responsible for owning and advancing the organization's data ecosystem by designing, building, and maintaining scalable data solutions within Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. This role develops data pipelines, creates reliable data models, and delivers analytics-ready datasets that enable business intelligence and reporting across the organization. This role also partners with business stakeholders to define a data roadmap, improve data governance and quality, and identify opportunities to expand data-driven decision-making and analytics capabilities What You'll Do:Own and manage the organization's data ecosystem within Microsoft Fabric and Power BIDesign and maintain scalable data architecture including lake house structures, semantic models, and datasetsDevelop and maintain data pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and integrating data from multiple systemsBuild and optimize enterprise Power BI datasets and reports to support decision-making across the organizationDevelop and maintain data models that support consistent and reliable analyticsEstablish and maintain data governance, data quality, and documentation standardsCreate and maintain a long-term data roadmap aligned with organizational strategy and analytics maturity goalsIdentify opportunities to expand advanced analytics capabilities such as predictive analytics, self-service BI, and automated insightsPartner with business leaders and stakeholders to understand data needs and prioritize analytics initiativesEnsure performance, scalability, and reliability of the data platformImplement best practices for data security, access controls, and complianceSupport and enable self-service analytics across departments through standardized datasets and semantic modelsUnderstanding of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and tools, including implementing and managing data protection controls within Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and the broader Microsoft ecosystemMonitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, reports, and platform performanceContinuously evaluate new capabilities within Microsoft Fabric and Power BI to improve analytics across the organizationHow to Qualify:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or business intelligence development3+ years working with Microsoft data platforms such as Power BI, Azure, or Microsoft FabricMicrosoft Fabric expertise including Lakehouse architecture, Data Factory pipelines, notebooks, and semantic modelsAdvanced Power BI development including data modeling, DAX, report optimization, and enterprise dataset managementStrong SQL proficiency for querying, transformation, and performance optimizationData modeling expertise, including star schema, dimensional modeling, and semantic layer designExperience building and managing data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and orchestrationUnderstanding of modern data architectures, including data lakes, lake houses, and warehouse conceptsExperience with ETL/ELT processes and data transformation frameworksAbility to design scalable data platforms that support enterprise analytics and reportingDesign and enforce Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies to safeguard sensitive data, ensure compliance with organizational standards, and prevent unauthorized data access or sharing across the data platformExperience implementing data governance and data quality practicesStrong understanding of business intelligence concepts and KPI developmentExperience integrating data from multiple sources such as ERP, CRM, SaaS platforms, and operational systemsKnowledge of data security and access management within Microsoft environmentsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutionsExperience with version control and development best practicesStrong communication skills for working with business stakeholders and leadership What Sets You Apart:Experience building or leading a data platform practice, team, or Center of Excellence from the ground up or through a significant growth phase.Track record of end-to-end platform ownership: from architecture design through scaled adoption, including driving self-service BI adoption across non-technical business users.Knowledge of environmental manufacturing processes and sustainability practices. Experience working in a fast-paced, Agile environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
