Role Overview

We are seeking a Power Automate Developer to design, build, and optimize automated workflows that streamline business processes currently managed through Excel and other Microsoft 365 tools. The ideal candidate will translate manual workflows into scalable, maintainable automation solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps, and related Microsoft technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze existing Excel-based workflows and convert them into automated Power Automate flows.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions using Power Automate (Cloud Flows, Desktop Flows).
  • Integrate workflows with SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, Teams, Dataverse, SQL, and other connectors.
  • Build and maintain Power Apps (Canvas/Model-driven) when required for front-end workflow interaction.
  • Create reusable components, templates, and documentation for automation standards.
  • Troubleshoot flow failures, optimize performance, and ensure reliability of automated processes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and refine workflow logic.
  • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and data-handling policies.
  • Provide knowledge transfer and training to internal teams on automation best practices.

 Required Skills & Experience

  • 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate (Cloud & Desktop).
  • Strong understanding of Excel, structured tables, formulas, and data transformation.
  • Experience integrating Power Automate with SharePoint lists/libraries, Outlook triggers, Teams actions, and external APIs.
  • Knowledge of Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Platform ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with JSON, REST APIs, and basic scripting logic.
  • Ability to translate business processes into technical automation workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Certification: PL-900, PL-100, or PL-200.
  • Experience with Power Automate Desktop for RPA-style automation.
  • Exposure to Dataverse, SQL, or Azure Logic Apps.
  • Background in workflow automation, process optimization, or business analysis.
