Your Role
As an Engine Disassembler, you'll play a vital role in our production and recycling operations-helping prepare vehicles for processing and ensuring parts are safely and efficiently dismantled for reuse and resale. You'll work hands-on with tools and equipment in a team-focused, safety-first environment.
What You'll Do as an Engine Disassembler
  • Promote a "Safety First" culture and follow all environmental, health, and safety standards
  • Disassemble and prepare engines, vehicle components, and fluids for recycling and resale
  • Operate tools and equipment such as air compressors, hydraulic shears, and CFC recovery units
  • Inspect, clean, and maintain equipment and tools daily; report any needed repairs to supervisors
  • Support vehicle preparation by removing fluids, electrical components, catalytic converters, and other parts per SOPs
  • Maintain accurate reporting of parts and inventory levels
  • Ensure all vehicles are properly secured during transport, processing, or dismantling
  • Keep your work area organized and clean
  • Follow the company dress code and always wear required PPE
  • Assist teammates and contribute to team goals
  • Work standard production hours (Monday-Friday), with some weekends or holidays as needed

What You Bring as an Engine Disassembler
  • Commitment to safety and teamwork
  • General automotive mechanical knowledge
  • Experience with hand tools and power tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor industrial environment
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer and mobile device skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Reliable transportation
  • Experience operating excavators a MUST!

Preferred:
  • Experience maintaining or troubleshooting heavy equipment (loaders, hydraulics, forklifts, etc.)
  • Basic auto parts knowledge
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
