Position Summary
SURVICE Engineering is currently seeking an Knowledge Specialist - Management & Business Process Reengineering to support our Washington Area Operation. You will accelerate your career and become an integral team member within the defense community. The Knowledge Specialist will provide Microsoft Dataverse administration and Data Table development services to the ONR Global Chief Information Officer (CIO). The KM and BPR Specialist will demonstrate administrative and integration competence with the Microsoft Dataverse platform; and, the ability to effectively manage the Dataverse platform to support the Power Apps used in the day-to-day execution of the Command's missions.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities of Knowledge Specialist - Management & Business Process
  • Provide Microsoft Dataverse Administration services to integrate a suite of Microsoft Power Apps into Dataverse.
  • As directed by the government, execute the subtasks identified below to ensure ONR Global's Power App data is optimized to support ONR Global's S&T mission:
  • Add, Delete and Edit Power App generated data into the ONR Global Dataverse Tables.
  • Develop, and recommend for implementation, Dataverse data governance policies and procedures to the ONR Global CIO and Data Manager.
  • Recommend performance improvements to Power Apps populating Dataverse Tables to the CIO and Data Manager and implement the improvements after acquiring government approval.
  • Design and implement data configuration standards for Dataverse Tables to ensure maximum discovery and searchability of content.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise on Microsoft Dataverse integration with existing ONR Global Business Processes and Power Apps:
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise in creating, modifying and managing tables, relationships and data types in Dataverse.
  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise to integrate other Microsoft 365 services, Power Platform and Azure data into Dataverse.
  • Train and develop ONR Global CIO KM Team Members on Dataverse fundamentals.

Minimum Qualifications of Knowledge Specialist - Management & Business Process
Bachelor's Degree in Technical Field of Study and Microsoft Dataverse Certification course. 3+ years of relevant experience. Candidates are not required to possess all qualifications; is you possess some of the desired qualifications, please apply.
Desired Experience
  • The Knowledge Specialist shall accept technical tasking and task prioritization direction from the ONR Global Command Information Officer (CIO) acting as the TPoC for this position. The individual fulfilling the position shall possess at a minimum:
  • Documented successful completion of a Microsoft Dataverse Certification course; and demonstrated 3 years of experience in managing Dataverse instances.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with 3 years of experience in operating, maintaining and editing Data Tables in Microsoft Dataverse.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with 3 years of experience in managing and enforcing Microsoft Dataverse governance policies.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with 3 years of experience in operating, maintaining and editing Microsoft Power Apps.
  • Demonstrated robust level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of the Naval Research and Development Establishment.
