Job description

We are expanding and need experienced, motivated railing fabricators to join our Cast Iron Elegance team. When you join the other fabricators in our shop, you will construct and manufacture custom ornamental rails, drive gates, spiral stairs, etc.. You will follow drawings, determine material measurements, and take care and responsibility to produce clean welds. You are responsible for the quality of your output, so you must be able to perform simple tests to ensure weld quality. We offer competitive pay, overtime, an air-conditioned shop, and are in Raleigh near the 401 and 70 split.


Welder Fabricator Duties and Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and manufacture metal railings, driveway gates, spiral staircases, and other ornamental iron work
  • Follow drawings to ensure exact specifications of output
  • Produce strong, clean welds
  • Test output to ensure strength and tolerance of welds

Welder Fabricator Requirements and Qualifications

  • Prior experience welding, preferably in ornamental iron production. We are looking for fabricators with previous RAILING FABRICATION EXPERIENCE.
  • Familiarity with common welding tools and procedures, including MIG welding, metal fabricating, grinding, and finishing metals.
  • Ability to stand, crouch, and occasionally lift heavy equipment.
  • Must be able to read drawings.
