Job description

For more than 80 years, Winholt Equipment has been an industry leader in the design and manufacturing of custom food-handling and food-preparation equipment for the food service industry. We are looking for experienced Stainless Steel TIG Welders to join our team. You will work with thin-gauge stainless steel (18-gauge) to weld, fit, and assemble food-grade products. This job requires strong TIG welding skills and the ability to follow drawings and quality standards.

We are also looking for thin-gauge MIG Aluminum welders.

What You Will Do

  • TIG weld stainless steel parts for food‐grade equipment.
  • Fit, weld, and assemble stainless steel components.
  • Clean and repair welds as needed.
  • Follow all safety rules and quality requirements.
  • Keep your work area clean and maintain equipment.
  • Work with other welders and production staff to meet daily goals.
  • Pay close attention to detail and produce clean, accurate welds.

What You Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • 2–3 years of stainless steel TIG welding experience, or formal welding training.
  • Ability to weld thin‐gauge (18‐gauge) stainless steel.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints or assembly drawings.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
  • Able to use measuring tools such as a tape measure and square.
  • Must follow instructions, be reliable, work safely, and work well with a team.
  • Must produce welds that meet company and customer quality standards.

Pay

  • $26-$30 per hour, based on experience
  • Pay rate is not negotiable
