Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Powder Coating Painter for a direct hire opportunity in Santa Ana, CA. As a Powder Coating Painter, you will support a sheet metal fabrication production team by preparing metal parts, applying powder coatings, operating coating equipment, and inspecting finished products. This position offers the opportunity to work in a stable production environment where safety, teamwork, attention to detail, and quality craftsmanship are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare steel, aluminum, and other metal components for powder coating by following established surface preparation procedures.
- Apply powder coating to metal products while maintaining consistent coverage, thickness, and finish quality.
- Operate powder coating equipment and adjust air pressure, spray settings, and related controls as needed.
- Inspect finished parts for defects, consistency, appearance, and compliance with production standards.
- Follow work instructions, job travelers, production documentation, and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while handling coating materials properly.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $25 to $27 per hour.
