Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, providing flexibility and allowing you to create a conducive work environment. Although the majority of your engagements will occur during regular business hours, there may be occasions requiring evening or weekend availability based on the needs of clients and program activities. You will utilize telehealth platforms and other remote tools to deliver counseling services effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients, identifying social, emotional, and environmental factors that impact their mental health and overall well-being.
• Create personalized service plans that include specific goals, evidence-based interventions, and consistent monitoring of client progress.
• Provide engaging individual and family counseling to assist clients in overcoming various life challenges, utilizing therapeutic techniques that promote emotional growth and stability.
• Form strong, collaborative relationships with clients to develop tailored service plans, linking them to community resources and support systems.
• Offer crisis intervention services, performing risk assessments, and implementing safety planning when necessary to ensure the safety of clients.
• Collaborate with local agencies and organizations, effectively advocating for clients to coordinate essential services and maximize their support networks.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives aimed at raising awareness of mental health issues and the services provided by Life Line Counseling.
• Attend regular case conferences, team meetings, and training sessions to enhance professional development and share insights with colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LCSW at Life Line Counseling, your primary focus will be on supporting children and adolescents in educational settings, as well as their families. You will effectively address diverse mental health concerns and social challenges that impact student success, such as anxiety, depression, family dynamics, and trauma. Your work will play a crucial role in fostering a supportive environment that promotes healing and resilience among young clients.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon.
• Strong understanding of mental health interventions, social dynamics, and trauma-informed care principles.
• Exceptional communication and cultural competence skills, including the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in a social service agency, particularly in school settings or with youth populations, is preferred.
• Familiarity with community resources available to support mental health and social services.
• Experience utilizing telehealth platforms for counseling sessions.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive yearly salary ranging from USD 60,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience level. In addition to base salary, Life Line Counseling provides a sign-on bonus as an incentive for joining our team. Benefits include:
