Position Summary:

We're looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our egg production team as a poultry caretaker this hands-on role, you'll help care for laying hens, maintain clean barns, collect eggs, and support daily farm operations while following animal welfare and biosecurity standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Care for laying hens by monitoring their health and well-being 

Keep barns clean, organized, and sanitary 

Ensure birds have continuous access to feed and water 

Monitor egg collection equipment and maintain egg flow 

Perform routine bird and egg checks 

Report equipment, ventilation, or maintenance concerns 

Complete daily records and documentation 

Follow all farm safety, biosecurity, and PPE requirements 

Work independently and as part of a team 

Perform other farm duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic 

Comfortable working in a physically active environment 

Able to lift, bend, walk, and stand for extended periods 

Strong attention to detail 

Able to follow instructions and safety procedures 

Previous farm or livestock experience is helpful but not required-we're willing to train the right candidate

En este puesto practico, ayudara a cuidar gallinas ponedoras, mantener los gallineros limpios, recolectar huevos y apoyar las operaciones diarias de la granja, siguiendo los estandares de bienestar animal y bioseguridad.

Responsabilidades principales:

  • Cuidar de las gallinas ponedoras, supervisando su salud y bienestar.
  • Mantener los gallineros limpios, organizadas y en condiciones sanitarias.
  • Asegurar que las gallinas tengan acceso continuo a alimento y agua.
  • Supervisar el equipo de recoleccion de huevos y mantener un flujo continuo de produccion.
  • Realizar inspecciones rutinarias de las gallinas y los huevos.
  • Informar cualquier problema relacionado con el equipo, la ventilacion o las necesidades de mantenimiento.
  • Completar los registros y la documentacion diaria.
  • Cumplir con todas las normas de seguridad de la granja, bioseguridad y uso del equipo de proteccion personal (EPP).
  • Trabajar de forma independiente y como parte de un equipo.
