Job description


This individual will be responsible for supervising our potato warehouse operations and supporting management in providing daily tasks to the warehouse employees. They will coordinate with the plant for load out and ensure necessary coverage. They will maintain the warehouses and ensure daily tasks are accomplished. Their work must be completed in a safe, professional and timely manner.
$21.50 - $23.75 / hour

Specific Duties Include:
• Coordinate with the plant for load out and ensure proper steps are completed efficiently.
• Support the compliance of all food safety regulations and workers safety.
• Support the warehouse team by providing direction and answering questions for daily tasks.
• Communicate effectively with management and team members.
• Maintain buildings and equipment ensuring they are in appropriate condition.
• Leading a crew during harvest and planting.
• Repair, maintain and operate equipment as well as other farm and agriculture duties.
• Maintain a clean work area, as well as care for all tools, machines, and equipment.
• Operate agriculture and farm equipment.
• Flexibility to work in a variety of roles dependent on the farm needs.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and as directed in the employee handbook.
• Conduct self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of R.D. Offutt Farms.
• Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.
Job Requirements:
• Two plus years of previous shop, potato storage, and/or warehouse operations experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to assemble and perform maintenance functions on equipment.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
