Job description

Registered Nurse

Job Title: Registered Nurse

Profession: Nursing

Specialty: Obstetrics/Gynecology

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Day

Shift Hours per Shift: 12

Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred

License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state

Certifications: ACLS, NRP, BLS required

Must-Have: Postpartum/mother-baby experience required

Description: Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times. Fulfills the needs of the patients, families, and community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with current licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. Patients include those recovering from vaginal delivery, C-section, and GYN surgery.
