Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) – 13-Week Assignment in Tualatin, Oregon

Travel Labor & Delivery RN job in the Portland metro area: Join a dynamic women’s services team in Tualatin, Oregon and provide expert maternal-newborn care in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery unit.

This 13-week travel nursing assignment is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse who thrives in a high-acuity maternal-child setting and is passionate about supporting patients through labor, delivery, and recovery.

Job Details

Job Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
  • Active Oregon RN license or proof of Oregon license application and fingerprinting with submission
  • BLS, ACLS, and NRP Advanced certifications required
  • Fetal monitoring experience required
  • Experience with C-sections and circulating required; scrub experience preferred
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Ability to care for low-risk Labor & Delivery patients and post-surgical GYN patients
  • Strong clinical skills in maternal-newborn care, patient education, and bedside support
Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to laboring patients, postpartum patients, and newborns as appropriate
  • Support vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and circulatory duties in the OR setting
  • Monitor fetal heart patterns and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
  • Assist with assessments, medication administration, IV management, and labor support interventions
  • Deliver compassionate education and support to patients and families throughout the birth experience
  • Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, efficient care
  • Float within the facility or system as required by assignment needs
