Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum for a travel nursing job in Hillsdale, Michigan.

Job Description & Requirements

Position: LDRP (Labor and Delivery + Recovery and Postpartum) RN

Details:

  • Care for both labor & delivery as well as recovery with mother/baby and postpartum care.
  • 2 Triage beds for rule out labor, NSTs, fluids, etc. 16 weeks and over gestation.
  • Avg deliveries: 40/mo / 425/yr
  • Providers not always on site overnight, anesthesia within 30 mins and physicians within 10. No residents.
  • Growing CNM model so coverage 2-4 days per week.
  • RN responsibilities for skills check:
  •  
    • Cervical exams
    • Cytotec placement
    • Mag gtts
    • Newborn/preemie care post c-section/delivery
  • Can float to M/S floor but only assists- not taking full assignment.
  • Staffing: 3 RNs and 1 CAN weekday, 2 RNs and 1 CNA weekend. 1 RN on call. Nightshift charge M-F typically available.
  • EHR: CPSI (uncommon- will get an intro and hands on during shadow shifts)
  • Orientation: 1-3 shifts on the unit based on experience.
  • Scrub color: Ceil
