Job Summary
This role is responsible for overseeing database operations for large-scale and complex projects, ensuring optimal system performance, high availability, and continuous service improvement. The individual drives operational excellence, mentors technical teams, and innovates process enhancements to meet client SLAs and organizational objectives. (1.) Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee database operations by applying expert knowledge in Oracle and PostgreSQL administration to ensure high availability, performance tuning, and recovery planning for large-scale production environments.
2. Lead incident management and root cause analysis for Oracle and PostgreSQL systems, implementing preventive measures and process enhancements to minimize downtime.
3. Drive automation initiatives using scripting tools and database utilities to streamline repetitive Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL operational tasks.
4. Guide and mentor teams in advanced troubleshooting, configuration, and optimization of Oracle and PostgreSQL clusters, ensuring knowledge transfer and technical growth.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate client requirements into actionable support solutions, ensuring alignment with SLAs and business objectives.
