Overview Integral Federal is seeking a Data Engineer / PostgreSQL DBA to administer, sustain, optimize, and protect JPES/JCRM data environments. Responsibilities * Administer PostgreSQL/EDB databases.
* Perform database tuning and performance analysis.
* Manage schemas, indexes, queries, and database configurations.
* Support backup, restore, and recovery.
* Maintain data integrity and availability.
* Support database security and STIG remediation.
* Troubleshoot database and data-exchange issues.
* Support data mapping, migration, and integration activities. Qualifications Required: * BA/ BS in an engineering discipline. Additional four years of experience in lieu of degree is acceptable.
* 6+ years database engineering/administration experience.
* Strong PostgreSQL experience.
* Advanced SQL.
* Backup/recovery and performance tuning.
* Database troubleshooting and security.
* U.S. citizenship and required Secret eligibility. Preferred: * EDB PostgreSQL.
* Oracle familiarity.
* Cloud-hosted databases.
* DoD/classified environments. Salary range: $130,000-$160,000 This position is in the proposal stage. The above salary range represents a general guideline.
