Job description

Job Summary:
NTT DATA is a trusted global innovator of business and technology services, currently seeking a DBA - Production Support to join their team. The role involves providing production support for various database platforms and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective database management.
Responsibilities:
• Provide production support for multiple database platforms (Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise, Sybase IQ, UDB DB2, Sybase Replication, UDB DB2, Postgres, Hadoop, MSSQL, Mongo DB, Oracle database) infrastructure globally.
• Provide Support for:
• Alert resolution, Provisioning activities & User Requests.
• Database implementation, migrations, lifecycle upgrades and capacity planning.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, application, and infrastructure teams
• Flexible to work in weekend shifts.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3+ years of experience in Database Administration
• 3+ years of Hands-on experience with Sybase ASE and/or DB2
• 3+ years of Experience in supporting database/center migrations
• 3+ years of Strong understanding of: Database administration tasks
• 3+ years of Strong understanding of: Troubleshooting and performance analysis
• 3+ years of Strong understanding of: SQL and database architecture
• 3+ years of Strong understanding of: Database upgrade and migration
• 3+ years of Experience with job scheduling tools (Autosys, cron, bash scripting)
• Ability to follow and execute runbooks in a production environment
• 3+ years of Experience working in Linux environments (primarily Red Hat Enterprise Linux)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work and effectively prioritize in a highly dynamic work environment that includes a global focus.
Preferred:
• Exposure to additional databases (Oracle, Postgres, MSSQL, MongoDB)
• Experience with large-scale enterprise infrastructure environments
• Strong learning mindset and adaptability
• High level of ownership and results-driven attitude
