Job description

FUMA is seeking a full-time Assistant Coach for the Postgraduate Lacrosse Program.

This position is ideal for a high-energy, motivated coach who is passionate about recruiting, developing student-athletes and helping continue to grow a nationally competitive postgraduate program.

Estimated Start Date: June 15, 2026

The assistant coach will play a key role in recruiting, player development, practice planning, and program operations while helping instill the academy's Christian values, including discipline, accountability, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Recruit prospective postgraduate student-athletes globally

• Assist with practice planning, game preparation, scouting, and other duties as assigned in athletic department

• Develop and implement defensive systems and player development

• Support strength & conditioning expectations and team culture

• Help manage program operations, travel, logistics and equipment

• Maintain strong communication with recruits, families, and college coaches

• Assist with social media, marketing and program promotion

• Uphold the standards and Christian mission at FUMA

Qualifications

• Previous college or high-level lacrosse playing/coaching experience preferred

• Strong recruiting ability and national network database

• Highly organized, disciplined, and detail-oriented

• Competitive mindset and relentless work ethic

• Ability to mentor and develop young men both on and off the field

• Valid driver's license with ability to travel for recruiting, as well as pass a background check
