Postdoctoral Fellow - Assessment & Evaluation 

Compensation: $75,000-$85,000 annual salary; paid bi-weekly 

Employment Type: W-2, Full-Time Employee; Exempt

Schedule: Flexible scheduling

Location: This is a hybrid (onsite at least 3 days per week) role based out of Ann Arbor, MI


Role Summary

The Postdoctoral Fellow is a critical role designed for individuals, who have recently completed their doctoral training in a mental health-related field or have a Master's degree with an unrestricted LLP, with an emphasis on assessments and evaluations. This position offers an opportunity to gain supervised clinical experience, expand professional skills, and contribute to our clinical services, with a focus on assessment. The postdoctoral fellow will conduct comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessments for diagnostic clarification and treatment planning for adults and youth (including but not limited too ADHD evaluations, Autism evaluations, Learning disorders, Pediatric neuropsychological assessment, integrated reports, differential diagnosis).  The Postdoctoral Fellow will received opportunites for advanced asessment interpretation, supervision structure, optional therapy balance, future employment potential, and the ability to monitor case volume/week, testing instruments used, and licensure hour tracking. Success in this role includes delivering accurate, timely evaluations, producing high-quality written reports, and collaborating with referring providers to support effective patient care. 


Postdoctoral Fellow Responsibilities, while under supervision: 

  • Administer, score, and interpret psychological and/or neuropsychological assessments
  • Conduct diagnostic interviews and clinical evaluations
  • Prepare clear, timely, and clinically sound assessment reports
  • Provide feedback sessions to clients and/or caregivers as appropriate
  • Collaborate with therapists and referral sources
  • Maintain compliant documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Ensure ethical practice and quality clinical care.
  • Options available to conduct testing only or a provide a combination of therapy and testing services
  • Stay current with research literature, continuing education, and best practices in the field.
  • Participate in clinical supervision with licensed psychologists to enhance clinical skills and receive feedback.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Postdoctoral Fellow Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation: $75,000-$85,000 annualized salary; paid bi-weekly

Requirements

 Postdoctoral Fellow Required Qualifications

  • Doctoral (PhD or PsyD) degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or School Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
  • Completion of all doctoral program requirements and eligible for postdoctoral training in Michigan or an unrestricted LLP in Michigan.
  • Experience with evidence-based assessment and therapeutic interventions for adults preferred.
  • Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Comfort using an EHR and telehealth platforms.
  • Commitment to professional development and supervision under licensed psychologists.
