Position Requirements

Description
Opportunity for anesthesiologist with Henrico Doctors' Hospital, a Level II Trauma Center in Richmond,VA. Recently designated as a Level II Trauma Center, Henrico Doctors' Hospital is seeing growth in its volume of obstetric and surgical cases. The community hospital with 340 beds features around-the-clock pediatric and adult emergency room care. It is home to the Virginia Institute of Robotic Surgery Center, The Heart Center at Henrico Doctors', Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute, Primary Stroke Center, Women's Hospital, and the Virginia Transplant Center, which has a specialty in kidney transplants. The local practice also provides coverage to Retreat Doctors' Hospital, Parham Doctors' Hospital, and five ambulatory surgical centers.

Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership

Requirements
MD or DO from an accredited institution
Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
Board Eligible or Board Certified
Current medical licensure
ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
