Role Overview

The User Experience Interaction Designer (Level III) will play a lead role in defining, designing, and guiding the user experience across multiple IT products. This position requires deep expertise in UX design, user research, interaction design, and visual design with the ability to translate complex business requirements into intuitive and cohesive digital experiences.

The designer will serve as a UX center of excellence, working closely with business sponsors, stakeholders, and vendor teams to ensure alignment with design standards, usability principles, and enterprise-level guidelines.

Scope of Work & Responsibilities

User Experience Leadership

  • Serve as UX lead across projects to ensure a cohesive, unified user experience across IFC IT applications.
  • Act as the center of excellence for UX and provide authoritative guidance during project execution.
  • Facilitate user engagement sessions and review UX artifacts delivered by external vendor teams.

User Research & Analysis

  • Conduct user modeling, task analysis, and develop personas, journey maps, scenarios, and concept models.
  • Facilitate user research sessions and document findings.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand business processes, constraints, and user pain points.

Design & Prototyping

  • Translate complex business requirements and technical constraints into simplified, user-friendly interfaces.
  • Create content architecture, navigation flows, and interaction design.
  • Develop wireframes, workflows, prototypes, and design concepts using Figma and related tools.
  • Recommend solutions for complex interaction patterns across enterprise applications.

Collaboration & Implementation Support

  • Work closely with front-end and core development teams to ensure accurate implementation of UX designs.
  • Update design patterns, maintain style guides, and ensure adherence to enterprise design standards.
  • Oversee multiple design tracks, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

Professional Qualifications

  • Minimum 10+ years of UX/UI experience with a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
  • Usability Analyst certification preferred.

UX/Design Expertise

  • Strong expertise in usability engineering, information architecture, interaction design, and visual design.
  • Experience envisioning UX for enterprise-scale applications with complex business requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of modern prototyping tools—Figma is essential.
  • Experience aligning UX deliverables across multiple project tracks and ensuring consistent patterns.

Technical Skills

  • Basic proficiency with prototyping tools, HTML/CSS, and Adobe Photoshop is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of application development methodologies and emerging technology trends.
