Job description

Description
A postdoctoral position is available for a highly motivated research fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Henry De Belly at the Children's Medical Center Research Institute (CRI) at UT Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, USA.
Mechanical forces are fundamental drivers of cell behaviors from tissues development, cell migration, immune response and wound healing. Central to this process is the plasma membrane, a dynamic mechanical platform that integrates physical forces with signaling. Subtle changes in membrane tension regulate polarity, migration, trafficking, and cell fate, while mechanical dysregulation contributes to pathology in immunity, inflammation, and cancer. Our laboratory investigates how mechanical forces shape cell behavior within tissues, from immune cell migration to collective processes such as wound healing and metastasis.
We seek a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher with interests in cell biology, mechanobiology, imaging, or quantitative approaches. The position offers an opportunity to work a collaborative, interdisciplinary and intellectually stimulating environment.
