Job Summary:
Penn State University is seeking Postdoctoral Scholars in the Department of Mathematics through the Center for Computational Mathematics and Applications (CCMA). Successful candidates will engage in research in scientific computing, data science, and quantum information science, collaborating closely with faculty on advanced numerical methods and algorithms.
Responsibilities:
• Engage in research in scientific computing, data science, and quantum information science.
• Collaborate closely with CCMA faculty on cutting-edge research projects involving design, analysis and implementation of advanced numerical methods and algorithms in interdisciplinary applications.
• Possibility of an annual 1-1 teaching load.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in mathematics, applied mathematics, or a closely related field such as statistics, computer science, physics, or engineering by the start date of employment.
