Job description

Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Research Fellow with strong expertise in cell line development, molecular and cellular biology, and in vivo disease models. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving mechanistic and translational research projects focused on kidney injury, regeneration, and disease modeling. This position will provide opportunities for independent project leadership, publication, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities 1. Cell Line Development & Gene Integration Perform transfection using chemical, physical, and viral methods. Establish and maintain stable cell lines for mechanistic studies.

2. Molecular & Cellular Biology Techniques Culture various mammalian cell lines. Perform cell-based functional assays (e.g., proliferation, invasion, migration)

Carry out molecular biology workflows including PCR/qPCR, siRNA knockdown, and electrophoresis. 3. Protein and Imaging Techniques Perform Western blotting and immunofluorescence staining.

Conduct imaging using fluorescence microscopy. Prepare samples for histological analysis. 4.

In Vivo Models Manage breeding colonies of transgenic mice, genotyping, and sample collection. Perform surgical procedures (e.g., ischemia/reperfusion, unilateral ureteral obstruction). Conduct rodent behavioral analyses and participate in veterinary procedures (injections, surgeries)

Perform statistical analysis and data visualization. Qualifications Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D

in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or related field. Minimum of 0-3 years of relevant postdoctoral research experience. Proven expertise in cell culture and Molecular & Cellular Biology Techniques.

Demonstrated proficiency in in vivo models and surgical techniques. Publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
