Position Summary

Facility Workers are responsible for ensuring set-up and tear-down for events are completed according to specifications in a safe and timely manner. They are also responsible for basic maintenance and upkeep of both the building and property. Facilities workers must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he/she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.

This role pays an hourly rate of $17.56-$19.11 (per CBA)

Benefits as per the union agreement.

This position will remain open until August 28, 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Arrives for work on time for each scheduled shift, in uniform and ready to work.
  • Safely and efficiently operate hand tools.
  • Performs set-up and tear-down duties.
  • Performs daily operations and general building maintenance during non-event days.
  • Performs general landscaping of the property.
  • Works safely, quickly, and efficiently to meet all deadlines.
  • Maintains a positive, outgoing demeanor.
  • Work independently and in a team environment.
  • All other tasks assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Prior conversion or event experience preferred.
  • Prior landscaping or snow removal experience preferred.
  • OSHA 10 preferred.
  • Prior forklift training preferred.
  • Must be able to work overnight hours, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects on a frequent basis.
