What is a postal worker?

A postal worker works for the U.S. post office, and their skills and responsibilities depend on their specific role. As a postal service clerk, job duties include selling stamps and mailing supplies, registering or insure lettering or packages, renting out mailboxes, processing mail, and answering customer questions about postal services. Effective time management, proper use of safety equipment, and familiarity with the local area can help address these issues. Team members frequently support each other through route tips and occasionally swapping assignments to balance workloads. Staying adaptable and maintaining open communication with supervisors can also make it easier to manage unexpected obstacles on the job.
