Accounting Manager

JLS Mailing Services has over 10 decades of experience in the printing and mailing services business. We provide a comprehensive suite of services to some of the most prestigious companies in the Northeast- from data processing and the development of both digital and paper mail communications right through to the resulting delivery process to the end user/ via sophisticated postal automation equipment. Our reputation is built on our commitment to providing outstanding quality and service to our clients.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accounting Manager located in Brockton, MA. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including activities within accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting. The Accounting Manager will also be responsible for preparing the month-end and year-end close processes with our outsourced financial partners, overseeing accurate and timely billing, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience managing accounting operations;
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with leading edge technologies and accounting software such as Quickbooks, Microsoft Excel and other in house applications
