Description:

As an Enterprise Solutions Sales Engineer, you will drive enterprise sales by translating complex client business needs into secure, high-performance network infrastructures. You will serve as the technical lead during prospect discovery, design sophisticated network solutions, and bridge the gap between sales and post-sale implementation teams.


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Partnering with the sales team on technical discovery calls to understand a prospect's current network environment and pain points.
  • Designing enterprise network solutions (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, security architecture) tailored to customer requirements.
  • Building and presenting bill-of-materials, network diagrams, and solution proposals.
  • Responding to RFP/RFI technical sections and scope questions.
  • Translating business requirements into technical specifications that implementation teams can execute against without rework.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in networking, computer science, or related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience in enterprise networking and deployment
  • 3+ years’ experience of pre-sales engineering or technical consulting highly desired.
  • Ability to present to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel. Position can be up to 50% travel, both in and out of state, including overnight stays.
  • Must have an exceptional driving record and have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to pass drug screening and background check.
  • Must have the ability to move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to climb ladders and be comfortable working at heights of 3 to 40 ft.
